Anan — The Cambridge Academy was founded in 2009 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, as an initiative of Sharp Group — an institution with over 50 years of legacy in engineering, precision, and social responsibility. The founding belief was simple and remains unchanged: every child arrives in the world with a distinct way of thinking, and a school’s highest purpose is to find it, honour it, and build on it.
What began as a commitment to holistic, theme-based learning has grown into one of Coimbatore’s most distinctive educational institutions — a Cambridge-certified academy where international standards and individual identity are not in tension. They are the same thing.

Sharp Group has spent five decades building solutions that communities depend on, through engineering, water management, and an enduring commitment to social impact. Education has always been central to that mission. From supporting learning for underprivileged children to enabling rural education and skills training, Sharp Group has treated social responsibility not as a footnote but as a core principle.
Anan—The Cambridge Academy is the fullest expression of that principle. It is what happens when an institution that has always built to last decides to build futures.

A Six-Acre Sanctuary for Serious Learning.
Today, Anan — The Cambridge Academy stands on a six-acre green campus in Kalapatti, Coimbatore, a purposefully designed environment where every space is a learning space. We offer the full Cambridge pathway from Primary through Upper Secondary IGCSE, with Cambridge AS and A Levels coming soon.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and aspirations. What they share is an environment that sees them as individuals, not cohorts, and a curriculum that is designed to stretch every kind of mind.
